It's a really good theme. One thing I'm immediately struck by is that I didn't really know what the term meant, until I looked it up properly. I think I ought to do some research and see where that takes me.

I love the theme, although I'm having a hard time settling upon one idea. I have a question, can it be PC only (not to shut out MAC users, but I am planning on using GML off a PC. I will be able to compile to HTML5 eventually, but I don't think the ability will be available for me by the end of the month.

Yes, certainly. If you were to write a game that requires threescore carrier pigeons and a good head of steam that'd be fine too; you would perhaps attract fewer players though.

Target whatever platforms you want. Most people have windows machines, so you should be fine (I don't, though).
